KGO's Jim Dunbar dies at 89.
Jim Dunbar, who hosted mornings at news/talk KGO in San Francisco from 1963 to 2000, died April 23 at age 89. In 1956, Dunbar became a top-40 DJ at a New Orleans station, replacing a man who had quit to go into acting. That man was Dick Van Dyke.
